Summary
Delivering solutions globally in output and document management, the private sector business area of Formpipe Software is a leading Independent Enterprise Software Vendor (ISV) solution provider.
Currently expanding, we are now looking to strengthen our Business Solutions Team with the introduction of a specialised Banking consultant, with specific interest in TEMENOS and the TEMENOS ecosystem. The primary focus of the role will allow the selected candidate to assist with the sales process by providing technical assistance, proof of concepts, configuration of demonstration environments and translating a business cases into technical solutions. Working with a global base of consultants you will receive full training on our leading Output Management solution where you will be responsible for engaging with our partners in the banking world and supporting the commercial team with customer engagement.
You will be based in Europe, and will have to opportunity to travel to engage with partners and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities.
- Support the Formpipe commercial team and partner account managers.
- Assume ownership and responsibility for proof of concepts and customer engagement throughout the necessary lifecycle with Banking and our solutions.
- Analyse and define the scope of a proof of concept.
- Share technical requirements with partners, customers and other concerned parties.
- Act as your own technical resource for installation, configuration and interfacing.
- Provide and understand system architecture designs.
- Actively search for potential risks and apply mitigating actions.
- Hold regular meetings with the partners, customers and commercial team to update on presales progress.
- Nurture the sale of the product through key milestones from demonstration, proof of concept, sale closure and handover to implementation team or partner.
- Perform handovers from commercial to implementation teams
Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
- Experience working with Banking applications in a technical environment.
- Problem solving mindset.
- Practical experience in defining user requirements and scope.
- Excellent Customer service skills through all channels (telephone, email, face to face)
- Comfortable and confident in customer service with internal customers, external customers and partners
- Creation and delivery of presentations to any stakeholder within the project from end user to C-level.
- Remote access and configuration of software on Windows servers
- Experience working collaboratively with other team members to achieve deadlines
- Demonstrate an ability to reach out to colleagues, customers and partners in order to resolve complex issues
- Creation of internal and customer facing solution documentation
- Sharing of knowledge with internal teams
- Experience writing functional code
- Self-Motivation
- Strong communication and social skills.
- Experience of using CRM software. Microsoft CRM will be of particular interest.
- Background in marketing software solutions through a partner channel would be of particular interest.
- Software background either on an educational or commercial level, will also be of particular interest.
Desirable:
- Technical pre-sales background
- Agile Project Management certification such as DSDM practitioner
- Confident use of Jira or similar tracking tools
- Testing and defect resolution
- Previous experience creating standard documentation templates and best practice guides
- Degree in computer science or similar field
- Document management systems
- Document composition tools
